Sketchup is a 3D application that is destined for the Windows and Mac platforms, and not on Linux.
However, after attending the forum and asked here and there, I found a way to run sketchup on ubuntu with wine 1.1 wine 1.0.1
1.) Install sketchup 6 with wines
2.) Click alt + F2 and type in regedit search HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Google \ SketchUp6 \ GLConf ig \ Display and locate the key 'HW_OK' and replace valuenya from 0 to 1, after that run the sketchup 6, if still can not open sketchup or there was an error. Open regedit again and search KEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Google \ Sketchup6 \ Snappy Instructor and looking for key "SHOW" and replace valuenya be 0.
Good luck!
